Critical current density Jc extremely decreases in REBCO high temperature superconducting films for grain boudaries with large angles. Recent application requires the REBCO tapes used at low temperature and high magnetic fields. However, the inter-grain Jc property is still unclear for the operation condictions. In this study, SmBCO films were fabricated on single-crystalline or bicrystalline substrates with various tilt angle. Infield Jc properties were measured at temperatures from 4.2 K to 77 K and field up to 24 T to clarify flux pinning properties in REBCO films with grain boundaries.
