[19p-C103-8] Active sites in the graphene growth process investigated by real-time observation

CVD growth on Cu is a promising technique to obtain large area and high quality graphene. The active sites in growth is a nucleation site at the early stage and the growing periphery in the subsequent process. In this talk, we discuss the origin of nucleation and the incorporation process based on the investigation by radiation-mode optical microscope we have developed for observing the growing graphene grains in real time.
