This study reports the Co-Gd composition dependence of spin-Hall magnetoresistance (SMR) and anisotropic magnetoresistance (AMR) for the in-plane magnetized Co_100-xGd_x amorphous alloys sandwiched by the Cr and Pt layers. Our experimental results clearly indicate the different scattering mechanisms for AMR and SMR.
