[19p-F206-1] Nanoindentation of cubic boron nitride with variously indexed surfaces

We have developed a technique to prepare arbitorary indexed surface of cubic boron nitroide (cBN). In this presentation, we report nanoindentation experiments of various surfaces. We found "pop-in" phenomenon of a certain surface at 58+-3GPa. We will identify the surface index of this surface and discuss its origin.
