[19p-F310-5] Enhancement and quenching factor for Resonance Raman and fluorescence under strong coupling between plasmonic and multiple-molecular excitonic resonance

Tamitake Itoh1, Yuko S. Yamamoto2 (1.AIST, 2.JAIST)

Keywords:SERS, plasmon, strong coupling

Hotspots at metallic nanoparticle dimers enable us single molecule SERS spectroscopy by their extreme enhancement of transition rates of adsorbed molecules. At the hotspot, unique phenomena like 1) strong coupling between plasmon resonance and molecular electronic transition resonance and 2) ultrafast SEF have been also observed. In this study we derive enhancement and quenching factors at hotspot from the analysis of strong coupling and ultrafast SEF conditions, and reproduce SERRS and SEF using these factors.
