Surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) has attracted wide attention as the high sensitive detection of molecules. In this research, we aimed to reveal the chemical effect in SERS enhancement. We measured the SERS spectra of 1,4-benzenedithiol (BDT) and 4-aminobenzenethiol (ABT) utilizing the array of the gold nano structure fabricated by a lithography technique. As a result, we observed the SERS signal enhancement depending on the vibration mode and chemical species. Therefore, we succeeded in the evaluation of the chemical effects in SERS enhancement originating from the electronic states of molecules.
