The mechanism of TSL and OSL processes in CaF2:Tm phosphors is discussed in the basis on the emission spectra of TSL and OSL phenomena. The potentiality of CaF₂:Tm photosimulable phosphor as a candidate for phosphor materials of OSL dosimeter is also discussed.
