[19p-P7-74] Performance improvement of a backscattering X-ray imaging detector for non-destructive inspection of concrete structures
Keywords:Backscattering X-ray imaging, scintillator
We are developing a backscattering X-ray imaging technique that can inspect a large structure from one surface. To inprove the scan speed, we adopt a fan-beam X-ray scan system. In order to improve the image quality, we should pay some efforts to remove undesired scattering X-rays. In this presentation, we discuss performance improvement by removing these undesired scattering components.
