We have investigated photoluminescence (PL) properties of CuInS2 quantum dots (QDs) prepared by a hydrothermal method. In order to clarify the PL origin,
PL-decay profiles, time-resolved PL spectra, and the dependence of PL spectra on the excitation-light intensity were measured. These experimental results
demonstrate that the PL origin is donor-acceptor pair luminescence. Furthermore, the temperature dependence of PL spectra and PL-decay profiles were
studied systematically.
