[20a-A204-2] Response analysis in composite of nematic liquid crystal / orientated nanofiber by simulation

Response analysis of composite obtained by electrospun orientated nanofiber and nematic liquid crystal is discussed using simulation software of liquid crystal orientation distribution. We simulated static and dynamic response under application of voltage. In this simulation, the anchoring energy between nanofiber and liquid crystal molecule is regarded as week anchoring. From simulation results, it is found that the thresshold voltage dependence of decay time in various conditions has a certain relation.
