For realization of flexible smart window which can be attached to a large-area curved surface, we propose a reverse-mode polymer dispersed liquid crystal (R-PDLC) with transferred wall spacers. In this study, we fabricated transferred wall spacers with a height of 15 µm on a polycarbonate substrate. Then, we attempted fabrication of flexible R-PDLC devices using vertical alignment film and a mixture of nematic-phase liquid crystal and monomer. As a result, we achieved fabrication of flexible R-PDLC devices showing high haze value at voltage-on state.
