[20a-B203-8] Visualization of Gouy Phase by Rotational Intensity Distribution of Optical Vortex accompanying Free-space Propagation

Gouy phase is topological phase with accompanying free-space propagtion of spatially-confined wave and it can be utilized for spatial mode conversion and spatial mode separation. In this research, we propose visualizion and precision measurement method of Gouy phase by observing rotational intensity distribution of superposition between fundamental Gaussian beam and optical vortex beam, which has phase singularity in the center and has larger amount of Gouy phase than the fundamental Gaussian beam.
