In this presentation, we introduce the outline of the measurement technique using mechanoluminescence and the basic investigation of invisible crack using test specimen covered with mechanoluminescence sensor. In addition, we also report the results applied to the metallic storage cylinder of Cr-Mo steel (Type I) and carbon fiber reinforced plastic composite pressure vessel (Type III).
