Various temperature sensors using optical fiber has been proposed so far. We are conducting research on a high resolution temperature sensor based on the technology to precisely measure the optical length of an optical fiber. In this study, a cross-correlation measurement system using the optical fiber of about 80-m length was constructed and the optical length of the optical fiber was calibrated with temperature. The influence of the magnitude of the temperature gradient on the temperature resolution was also examined.
