[20a-P8-2] Direct Capacitor Charging Efficiecy for the Evaluation on Energy Harvesting

Takashi Yoshikawa1 (1.Kindai University Technical College)

Keywords:Charging Efficiency, Capacitor, Energy Harvesting

When performing energy harvesting such as vibration power generation and thermal power generation, we can not reasonably evaluate energy harvesting itself by using various converters to handle weak energy. Therefore, the harvester is directly connected to the capacitor to store the electricity, but at that time, it is impossible to know the potential of the harvester as the energy source simply by measuring the storage voltage. In this research, to clarify that, the storage efficiency is defined by measuring the storage voltage.
