[20p-A402-11] Polarization characteristics of terahertz wave emitted from edge surface of a GaAs/AlAs multiple quantum well

We have investigated the polarization dependence of the terahertz wave generated by the differential-frequency-mixing using two continuous wave lasers under exciton excitation condition in a semiconductor quantum well sample. Our results suggested that the exciton plays an important role to light absorption process in the conversion process.
