Organic electro-optic (EO) polymers have attracted significant attention as highly efficient and utrabroadband terahertz-wave generating and detecting materials. To develop highly efficient terahertz-wave generating devices, we fabricated a novel device consisting of the EO polymer waveguide and a terahertz-wave loss-less clad material and evaluated terahertz-wave generating properties of the device.
