[20p-B301-10] Water Window Soft X-ray Source Generating W-Class Power

We have been developing a cryogenic Ar laser plasma source that can emit continuously repetitive pulses in “water window” soft X-ray range between 2.3 and 4.4 nm. We optimized parameters for continuous operation condition of it and successfully obtained an average power of 0.5 W at 1.2J and 3.3 Hz laser pulses. We will discuss a higher power “water window” source generating 1W class output.
