[20p-C304-15] Thermal conductivity of a layered boride compound PrRh4.8B2 by using picosecond thermoreflectance method

We have investigated thermal conductivity of a layered boride compound PrRh4.8B2 single crystal by using picosecond thermoreflectance (TD-TR) method. The thermal conductivity of PrRh4.8B2 is much lower than that of other borides. This indicates randomly located Rh vacancies depress phonon conduction effectively.
