In recent years, strain engineering, which makes it possible to improve various physical properties by artificially applying stress by lattice mismatch, has been actively performed. In this reserch, we aim to construct material design guidances based on superlattice control of metastable dielectric and ferroelectric materials. Various physical properties were evaluated by preparing epitaxial alternating laminated thin films by BaTiO3 as the ferroelectric model material, CaTiO3 as the dielectric model material and Ca excess Ca-Ti-O as the metastable dielectric model material.
