A spin-polarized scanning tunneling microscope is known as a device capable of observing a magnetically ordered state at a single atomic level. This method also makes it possible to inject spin current with high efficiency at the single atom level due to the measurement using tunneling effect. Therefore, spin injection was performed on the (110) surface of bulk GaAs, where the light emission response to spin injection is well investigated, and polarization / spectroscopic measurement of the emitted light was performed. In this talk, we will discuss the details.
