Gold nanoparticles have been used as a highly sensitive mass-probe that can indirectly detect the target molecules. However, we can detect only one kind of target when used gold nanoparticles. In this work, we prepared alloy nanoparticles to use as a new mass-probe, in which silver was doped in gold nanoparticles. We also made simultaneous mapping of two kinds of proteins in a zebrafish tissue section by using the Au-Ag alloy nanoparticles as mass-probes.
