We performed tunneling current measurement for mono-nucleotide and oligo-nucleotide with a nanogap electrode device. Noise removal and base-typing were performed using the obtained signals as learning data. As a result, discrimination values (F measure) were found to be 0.95 so that the discrimination of adenine and cytosine the discrimination accuracy of nucleic acid groups was significantly improved, compared to the conventional methods based on the signal conductance histogram.
