[18p-E207-5] Crystal growth of φ8inch MgF₂ single crystal and φ4inch complex fluoride LiCAF single crystal by CZ technique using double crucible

Large MgF₂ single crystal has attracted much attention for Neutron Diffraction Filter, and LiCAF single crystal is required for VUV lens. φ8inch MgF₂ and φ4inch LiCAF single crystal were grown by CZ technique using double crucible. Single crystals were characterized and effect of the growth technique were discussed.
