[18p-E308-16] Synthesis and Evaluation of IrRuOx Catalysts Supported on Heteroatom-Doped Graphene
Keywords:water electrolysis, oxygen evolution reaction, heteroatom doped graphene
In this study, we synthesize novel IrRuOx catalysts supported on heteroatom (nitrogen and boron) doped graphene as an anode catalyst for water electrolysis and evaluate the catalytic activity for oxygen evolution reaction. The synthesized catalysts have higher catalytic activity for oxygen evolution reaction than a catalyst supported on graphene without heteroatom doping because of electronic state modification by electron donation and acceptance between heteroatom-doped graphene supports and IrRuOx nanoparticles.
