アゾ系色素を分散させた高分子薄膜中で二光束干渉によって誘起される回折格子では，光異性化の非線形性ため，干渉縞の周期を基本周期とした高次の回折格子が生じる．また吸収係数の周期的な分布のために，薄膜中の干渉縞強度分布にも高次成分が生じる．屈折率変化と光強度分布をフーリエ級数展開することで求めた数値計算と実験結果を比較し，回折効率における高次回折格子の影響について検討する．
