[18p-PB1-50] The crystal structure and magneto-transport properties of NixCo3-xO4 films

NiCo2O4 is ferrimagnetic material, which has a inverse spinel type structure and has high Curie temperature, so it is expected to be spintronic material operated at room temperature. In addition, previous studies have reported that NiCo2O4 thin films prepared by PLD showed perpendicular magnetic anisotropy and good electrical conductivity depending on the degree of cation site disorder . Therefore, NiCo2O4 has possibility to be applied to spin filter or MTJs. In this work, MgO(001) substrate / MgO(20 nm) / NixCo3-xO4 (24 nm) / AlO (2 nm)NixCo3-xO4 thin film was fabricated by MBE method and its crystal structure and magneto-transport properties were investigated for the purpose of applying NixCo3-xO4 to spintronic devices with perpendicular magnetization.
