[18p-PB1-57] AC Magnetic Susceptibility of Mn0.8Zn0.2Fe2O4 nanoparticles and nano-theranostics

We prepared Mn-Zn nanoparticles with diameters between 7 and 30 nm. AC magnetic properties and local structures were first investigated. Then polyethylene glycol (PEG) was modified to magnetic nanoparticles to improve the biocompatibility and dispersibility. Effective MR relaxation rate and hyperthermia effect in human breast cancer cell were confirmed. These magnetic nanoparticles would be effective for diagnostics and therapies that introduce a novel development in the field of theranostics.
