[19a-E201-11] First-principle study of the magnetic structure of metamagnetic L1₀-MnAl

The ferromagnetic phase of MnAl is known to have a crystal structure of L1₀ type with a Mn ratio of 55 to 60%. Recently, we have reported that MnAl obtained by post-annealing of electrodeposition shows metamagnetic behavior in which the magnetization rapidly increases in a certain magnetic field. Therefore, in this presentation, we report the analysis result of the metamagnetic mechanism in L1₀-MnAl by the first principle calculation.
