A new method using a magnetic tracer and a magnetic probe attracts attention in sentinel lymph node biopsy because of free from the risk of radiation exposure. In the previous study, permanent magnet was used in the new method, but it is not suitable for detection in deep position. On the other hand, since pulsed magnetic field can be generated a relatively large magnetic field, it is expected to be useful for detecting magnetic nanoparticles in deep position. In this study, we detected magnetic nanoparticles using pulsed magnetic field for sentinel lymph node biopsy.
