[19a-E204-4] Evaluation of optical condensation at the hot spot of a single metal nanodimer
via in-situ surface-enhanced Raman scattering measurements
Keywords:Surface-enhanced Raman scattering : SERS, Localized surface plasmon resonance: LSPR, Molecular condensation
The optical manipulation of the small molecules in the solution under ambient condition is still a very difficult challenge because of the Brownian motion, the small polarizability of molecule, or the diffractive limit of light. Up to date, the previous theoretical study has expected that the gradient force in the electric field induced by the localized surface plasmon resonance could overcome the molecular Brownian motion. Based on this fact, in this study, we have attempted to realize the optical molecular manipulation at the plasmonic nanostructures in the mixed solution of bi-analyte molecules under electrochemical potential control. The evaluation of the molecular manipulation process has been investigated through in-situ electrochemical surface-enhanced Raman scattering observations.
