[19a-E205-11] Observation of coherent lattice vibrations in 1T'-MoTe2

We investigated coherent lattice vibrations in 1T'-MoTe2 bulk crystal, which is a kind of TMDCs, by using time resolved optical pump-probe spectroscopy at room temperature. We observed the low frequency shear phonon mode characteristic in Td phase, which is stable below 250K. This phonon is known as to play a role to alternate lattice symmetry. In this presentation, we argue the properties of the shear phonon mode excited with different pump powers.
