In particular, liquid crystals doped with dye molecules can control transmittance in response with molecular reorientation based on nonlinear optical effect. So far, a focused laser beam has been used to induce such nonlinear optical response of liquid crystals, which strictly constraints the applicable situation of the systems. In this study, we investigated <gwmw class="ginger-module-highlighter-mistake-type-3" id="gwmw-15614355820767258737407">photoresponsive behavior</gwmw> of polymer-stabilized dye-doped liquid crystals by collimated beam irradiation.
