We succeded in the growth of single crystalline Fe/MgO heterostructures with perpendicular magnetic anistropy by sputtering. Interface PMA energy K_i was deduced to be 1.55mJ/m², which is large as compared with the interface magnetic anisotropy for polycrystalline Fe/MgO and CoFeB/MgO, suggesting that nearly MBE-quality crystallinity and interface was obtained for Fe/MgO by sputtering.
