In this work, we prepared and calibrated sub-microscale thermocouples for thermal conductivity measurements of single-molecule junctions. We confirmed that the Seebeck coefficients of Au and Cr thin wire thermocouples changed by up to 20% depending on the wire width. The effect of electron scattering is known to become more significant for thin-film thermocouples. Additionally, we have found that the electron scattering contribution of the side-surface of thermocouple wires cannot be ignored in the sub-microscale region.
