Keywords:Vibration power generation, Magnetostriction, Condition monitoring

For the condition monitoring of infrastructure and factory equipment using wireless sensor nodes, it is important to establish a technology that operates sensor nodes free from power supply maintenance, and it is expected to use energy harvesting technology. Magnetostrictive vibration power generation is a technology that can be suitable for the unique vibration of electric power equipment.
This time, we confirmed the basic performance of the latest type magnetostrictive vibration power generator, and used it to prototype a vibration energy harvester module capable of generating an output that can drive wireless sensor nodes from a small vibration of an actual power equipment.
