[19a-E315-1] [Highlight] [Young Scientist Presentation Award Speech] Reduction of Series Resistance and Improvement of Conversion Efficiency in ZnSnP2 Solar Cells by Inserting Cu3P between Absorber and Back Electrode
Keywords:interface, phosphide, solar cell
The highest efficiency of solar cells based on ZnSnP2 has been increased from 0 to 3.87% in this decade. For the back electrode of ZnSnP2 solar cells, Cu3P/Cu stacking is used and has an important role in reduction of series resistance. Cross-sectional observation for the stacking electrode before and after anneling revealed that by inserting Cu3P pure Cu is disappeared and reacted layer is formed. This indicates that Cu3P does not prevent but promotes interdiffusion and reaction around the electrode.
