[19a-PA1-9] Electronic state of hydrogen in the hydrogen storage material Y₂CH_x

Y₂C, known as electride material, has also attracted broad interest in regard to electronic structure of hydrogen as it is hydrogen storage material and hydrogen related catalyst matrix. We performed Muon Spin Rotation measurement on Y₂C to investigate the electronic structure of muon as a light isotope of hydrogen in the dilute limit. We revealed that muon may be located at the center of Y-tetrahedra site. In presentation, we will also report on the result of hydrogenated sample Y₂CH_2.55 and discuss the electronic structure of hydrogen in Y₂CH_x.
