Development of lead-free piezoelectric materials is urgently needed from environmental consideration.
One of the candidates is (Bi0.5Na0.5) TiO3 [BNT], but the problem is that the depolarization temperature is low. In recent years, it has been reported that Td of BNT is raised in temperature by performing quenching treatment from 1100 ° C. at the time of temperature decrease of the main firing. In addition, in the study of J. Zhang et al., It has been reported that Td is increased in temperature by combining zinc oxide ZnO with a BNT-based material. In this study, we examined the increase in temperature of Td by quenching treatment of BNT-Zn100x in which ZnO was complexed to BNT.
