Various processing methods are used including lathe processing and magnetic polishing. At the present time, it is difficult to apply the hollow processing method to complicated shapes due to the restriction due to the interference of tools when machining. In order to solve these problems, we have devised a superconductor assisted processing method (SUAM: SUperconductive Assisted Machining method) using the flux pinning phenomenon of a superconductor. Although this SUAM is usually composed of a permanent magnet and a superconducting bulk, it has recently been studied to use a superconducting coating material instead of the bulk.In this research, these performances were evaluated from the numerical value using the finite element method (FEM: Finite Element Method), and compared between the superconducting bulk and the coated conductor about each forces.
