[19p-B12-4] Future high-efficiency crystallline Si solar cell based on band structure control

Carrier selective contact (CSC) cells, which have the good passivation quality at the surfaces and the low minority carrier recombination velocities at the contacts, are expected to realize the higher efficiency next generation crystalline Si solar cells with lower production costs. In this talk, the resent research results and the future direction of this technology will be discussed.
