We have created phosphors with large Stokes shift utilizing “ the mixed ligands system” (complex anions) for white LEDs. By using the created phosphors, the chromaticity of white LEDs was stabilized, and the classification of the color bin became unnecessary. In this symposium, we would like to talk about the design guideline of the created phosphors, crystal structures, PL characteristics with a large Stokes shift, and PL mechanisms.
