[19p-E303-6] Formation of gel-like agglomerates of nanoparticles during laser ablation in a liquid system and its utilization for nanocomposite preparation.
Keywords:laser, colloids, agglomeration
We have found that laser ablation for CaO powder in ethanol resulted in the formation of gel-like structure, which was a very different phenomenon from those usually observed in laser ablation in liquids. We have clarified that the gel-like structure formation occurs via the CaO nanoparticle agglomeration. In addition, it was demonstrated that composite of the gel-like structures and metal nanoparticles can be obtained by mixing of these colloids.
