[19p-E307-2] Thermoelectric properties Si/CrSi2 composite with naturally decorated dislocations
Keywords:Si based thermometric material, Dislocation, Lattice thermal conductivity
It has been shown that heavily P doped Si/CoSi2 composite with naturally decorated dislocations can be synthesized by melt spinning followed by spark plasma sintering. The formed dislocations reduced the lattice thermal conductivity through enhanced phonon scattering. In this study, Si/CrSi2 composite was synthesized in the same way intending to show that dislocations can be formed by other elements than Co. It was shown that the synthesized Si/CrSi2 composite possesses dense dislocations and reduced lattice thermal conductivity as expected.
