Multimode fibers have grabbed significant interest for in vivo imaging application, etc. due to its nature of holding many spatial modes while suppressing diameter. In order to realize a high-speed, compact, and low cost system, we've currently proposed the use of semiconductor integrated optical phased array instead of spatial light modulators, which are used in conventional schemes. In this work, we report the first experimental demonstration of the proposed scheme.
