Lasers with ultrashort pulses are used for microfabrication and the preparation of nanoparticles. At present, a technique called laser ablation is attracting attention as a laser application. Laser ablation is advantageous as a method for producing nanostructures, such as ease of experiment, low cost, and absence of chemical reaction residues. In this study, two types of lasers with a pulse width of about 10 nanoseconds and about 100 femtoseconds are used to fabricate Bi2Se3 nanostructures and compare their structural features.
