Photonic-crystal surface-emitting lasers (PCSELs) are different from Fabry-Perot laser diodes in the point that the resonant wavelength of PCSELs is decided by the lattice constant of pohotonic-crystal. So, it is important to design the emission wavelength of active layer and resonant wavelength suitably. We report the influence of emission wavelength and resonant wavelength on threshold current density.
