[19p-PA7-3] Improvement of Analysis Method for Determination of Diffusion Coefficient of OH groups Through the Binding Interface of Silica Glasses

Change of OH-concentration profile upon heat treatment of bound silica glass plates with different OH concentration had been analyzed by the Boltzman-Matano’s method and confirmed theoretical prediction that the diffusion coefficient of OH groups is proportional to the OH concentration. Since we used non-sophisticated method, we tried the analysis by applying a novel approximation function for using the analysis. To confirm the reliability of the analysis, we compared the diffusion coefficient obtained by fitting theoretical solution to observed profile and the conventional method.
