[20a-E202-5] Influence of Oxidation of Pentacene on the Thin Film Growth of Pentacene

A thin film of pentacene (PEN) can be prepared by a solution process using a solvent soluble PEN precursor (SAP) with a thermal treatment. In the present study, influence of the oxidation reaction of PEN on the thin film growth of PEN in ambient air is investigated by using pMAIRS. The spectra reveal that the resulting oxides disturb the self-aggregation of PEN in the thin film.
