Optical sensing using Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) is expected to have various applications, including sensors for automatic operation. In our laboratory, we proposed a non-mechanical beam sweeping device using a VCSEL amplifier with a DBR slow light waveguide structure as a light source for scanning LiDAR , and we have been researching including LiDAR application In this research, we report the experimental results of LiDAR measurements at a distance of about 20 m using the existing Flash-ToF sensor module as the light source of this VCSEL beam scanner device.
